So today Rosemary wants to see an Omen Islands Gannet, but I don't have access to Omen Island. Is it only possible to find birds with the area in the name to find it in that area? So is it impossible for me to finish today's bird watching "quest"?

But there's still the Achievement for finding birds from all areas of Subeta. If we can really only find the Omen Islands bird on Omen Islands a lot of people will be out of luck.

i guess i should have clarified. this needs to be fixed, but there's no rush for the achievement. i thought it requires 8 different birds be turned into Rosemary. Birds dont actually have to be found. (idk someone will have to confirm or deny)

Other people have found it in Port Plunder so you might be able to find it in the shops there?^^

Check in the achievement forum, there's a whole thread for borrowing and lending. Because you don't have to actually give Rosemary Kelly the bird (I assume since all bird I've found have stayed in my inventory after going back to Rosemary Kelly to show her) maybe people would be willing to lend theirs to helps others who don't have access.

There already exists an Achievement that's only available if you have access to Omen Islands, the Drunk Carl quests. Just because this is another one doesn't make it broken. Some Achievements are harder than others.

Just because any particular day's quest is not completeable for a given day doesn't mean anything. Other quests are sometimes uncompleteable or you woulnd't want to even if you could.

There isn't any time limit to this daily, because they didn't announce one. Don't have access to the Omen Islands but want this Achievement? Get access. You have time to either get the pieces by Random Event or purchase.

There's an achievement for finding all 8 regional birds so I don't think this is a mistake.

So are you gonna fund the millions upon millions of sp it takes to get every omen islands map piece? Some users aren't super rich that they can just go buy map pieces that are jacked up to high prices. It takes me a few days to get even 2 mil and the pieces are way more. newer users couldn't even afford this quest. They shouldn't put one of the birds in a place that most poor users can't reach it it's not fair. It's like catering to the rich

Clearly you haven't bothered to look up the prices of the map pieces lately. Not a single one costs over 1 million points. I could buy all 9 right now for under 5 million points. Closer to 4.3 mil actually... If it takes you "a few days" to get 2 mil, you could get what you need for the map in a week, two tops.

And there is nothing at all wrong with newer users having a goal to work toward. There is nothing unfair about this in the slightest

Most users aren't "super rich". Neither the birds, nor even the maps, would require a user to be "super rich" to buy them, and absolutely nothing is stopping them from getting the bird from the shop that is OPEN TO ALL INDIVIDUALS that constitutes part of Omen Islands. If it takes you "a few days" to get even 2 mil, then you're not playing at your full capability by a long shot. I am certain that most people with actual goals certainly work harder than that. I don't have any goals whatsoever and I am "super rich" by your probable definition, yet through a few quest types per day, 10 plays of Caliph's Tomb, and selling the stuff I got as quest rewards, I have the average potential income of 3 million a day - much of which depends on when the things in my shop sell. This is not difficult. This takes me like, forty minutes, tops. Newer users couldn't afford a lot of things. If they do not have the drive to establish a system that works for them in the user-driven economy, I doubt that handing easy solutions to them is going to make them more successful - probably just increase the existing perception of user entitlement. They have the same access to Port Plunder that older users do. They have the same access to the forums to borrow the birds that older user do. They have the potential to skip the quest until the birds arecheaper, and wait on the achievement. There is nothing "not fair" about the situation. This is not how supply and demand works. When new, popular wearables are released through the site shops and some are higher priced than others, that is not catering to the rich. The fact that and were released the same day and are not anywhere near the same price is not catering to the rich. Anticipating that newer users will naturally find goals to work towards and figure out what methods work best for their interest in earning currency is not catering to the rich. You know what would be catering to the rich? The Subeta staff buying out every bird item in user shops when they get below 500k or some other sum that people find high, just to maintain the rarity of them. That would be unfair, that would be pandering, and that is something, in the long term, about which to be concerned. Not a fixable situation like this.
